Lucy in fine form this week as she spots ”Right you are” every day of the week. She is loving the way Kirsty is developing her pregnancy and the story & character are working well. Roifield endorses this; but Tom as father also has to be involved. How will it play out?
Much more serious for Roifield are the Frillies. He is dismissive of the delivery and speaking powers of both Freddie and Lily (who has acquired a new voice as a result of another change – but then it is so long since she spoke that her previous friend could have retired). Sadly there is always a disconnect between the age of the writers and that of younger cast members – which is possibly why they get ignored and so the words never sound right because it is impossible to reflect
the real speech patterns of the younger generation. My beef is related. Lily’s delivery is NOT crystal clear and she should not be a wireless actress as her diction is simply unclear and so when she spouts it is impossible to discern what she is saying.
And to no-one’s real surprise the real discussion point this week was the return of 007’s arch nemesis Stefan who apparently is not dead (you expect me to die?) – nor hiding in Eastern Europe but is here for some more Danegeld from Rob who is apparently out of a job and sofa surfing as he tries to lie his way out of this one.
All I have time for this week as I am running late
On this week’s episode we have calls from

Claire thinks we need to ask Toby the Brighton question
Glyn who’s suspicious of Brian
Robert who’s Lucy’s favourite slightly drunk fantasist
Debs who wants to push Rob over the edge
Dan John VII says Freddie’s in good company
Blithe Spirit who thinks Justin’s loathsome
