Our hosts report first on their own week which included a Patreon extra recording amongst much else. This is rapidly followed by a salute to the weird and wonderful Ambridge accents where it can be alleged that anything sounding potentially rural gets a look in with Welsh represented by Pat (originally very Welsh until she came back after a break at acting school with full RP) and Natasha with Jazzer providing a Scottish lilt.
The callers are in no doubt that the turkey of the week was Oliver and Ed chasing birds around a field closely followed by Alkie Alan with a strong presumption that Shula dobbed him in to the episcopal authorities! In a learned study worthy of Ambridge Academicals, a well known football team, reports that Wednesday episodes are consistently the weakest and are best avoided by new listening recruits. Alternatively listen to one of those and revel in the subsequent improvement! Not much room to mention Mia and Chelsea who are set to become the Clarrie and Susan of the next generation!
I have not previously mentioned the Dumteebookreview mash up where Philippa asks the author of the week about listening to The Archers. So far none of them have admitted reusing plots from Ambridge, it can only be a matter of time.
A new social media commentator joins the roster and is immediately identified as another East Midlands resident, me duck.

This week’s tune is from Stephen and we are lucky enough to hear thoughts from Jen, Stephen, Rob, Christina, Bernadette, Formerly Cycling Christine and Anon of Ambridge.
