Usually I’m trying to keep myself sane whilst sitting in Cambridge’s hideous commuter traffic, but variations in the past few weeks have included listening whilst wandering along the bank of the Danube dodging tourists in Budapest, whilst grubbing around in the muck weeding my veg patch (ooh er missus) and running a wussy 10K version of the hilly, off-road Giant’s Head Marathon. I had you on speaker during the race, had loads of people asking me what I was listening to and it resulted in the whole crowd singing Barwick Green as I ran over the finish line. “Dum tee dum tee dum tee dum, dum tee dum tee der der……” Had me grinning from ear to ear, that one.
