She’ll be devastated. She’ll blame herself. Well at least I thought my she will. And yes she’ll back down. And probably won’t leave the house for a bit. Poor Linda.

I think the story is building to a point where Lynda alleges that it isn’t simply bad luck, someone did something wrong and uses as an example the irresponsible person who allowed their animal to get loose in the first place. Them someone will have to tell her she was that person and she will be devastated.

I think someone should approach her now and introduce the idea that no-one would ever know for sure but there were lots of animals lost in the flood, even scruff. That way it won’t be such a shock when she finds out.

To be honest i think once she hears it was a dog, and that won’t be too long if Edd already heard it from the workers down “at the Fox” she will put tow and two together quickly. Her reaction i think will be of utter dismay and heartbreak. I would even go so far and suggest she would consider cancelling the Christmas show because of the shame she would feel. Part of me wants her knocking off her peg with her petition and bullying of Charlie but not to that extent.
