    You’re so right, Ms Bubbles!

My first thought was that character witnesses have no value at this stage in the process. I still don’t see what use Jess can be either. But then again, I haven’t seen the prosecution file. I assume that stupid statement Rob made to the police (in which he appeared to be saying he thought Helen and Kirsty were in a lesbian relationship and there were other strange goings on at Bridge Farm) hasn’t reached Anna yet. If it’s the statement we heard him giving with the extra dose of nonsense he was adding by way of embellishment, Ms Tregorran might want to channel her energies into taking instructions from the defendant on the contents.

I’ve got to the stage where it’s not worth my while focusing on all the stuff that bears no resemblance to the reality of a criminal trial as I know it. This is fiction, it’s dramatic licence – and it’s plain wrong!

It’s also compounded by the fact that Anna is supposed to be representing Helen in the family proceedings, too.
