Lucy is finding the “Will” bits very hard to hear and the ups and downs of dealing with bereavement by the various Grundy family members is proving very difficult at the moment. Joe (Edward Kelsey) provided a really definitive touching performance this week so gets the clap from Roifield. The future for Mia and Jake is unclear – they seem to have returned to Will from Andrew – is this a little odd as they have not been shown to have a close relationship with Will?
Miss Mid City reckons the grim reaper has been calling for the wrong people in the village and suggests some alternatives.
Witherspoon feels we will follow the story of Will’s journey of dealing with grief but Roifield considers it unlikely that we will see it all as the story will get sidelined in a few weeks’ time. We shall see. Will has to find a way of coping with his absence from Nic’s bedside as she died.
There is some confusion between Stella Gibbons (Cold Comfort Farm) and H E Bates (Darling Buds of May) – I think something was removed in the edit to spare Roifield’s blushes! Neither star superheroes so are easily confused.
And there is another running phrase under study “fair enough”! Right you are!
