Lucy reviews the week having listened far more closely than I did – I need to go back and listen again! Much of the hilarity revolves around Nic’s funeral which makes for an entertaining change from normal. However lessons in cheese and a detective mystery also feature in the round up of the week. Sport relief has gone missing thank goodness – not from the Archers – just from the round up. Please do not crowbar good causes into the programme.
The Clarrie and Susan double act was strong again this week and Clarrie was able to give Susan a real smackdown in the yoghurt factory. And Justin’s total control over Brian has also entertained. And can any more really be said about Shula – the woman who cannot communicate with her own husband and yet is able to talk William down from his lofty perch and get him to the church on time? Christine observes that Shula is dumping Alistair because she no longer needs a father for Dan; Lucy says that Shula needs to feel alive and is not as cynical as Christine suggests.
We saw wild turkeys wandering around in Falmouth near Boston when we were there a year or so ago, so I assume it applies throughout the US. In India of course cows can go anywhere and the cars go round them.
Map corner returns; it will probably turn up again next year. Also a live DumTeeDum is being promised – with special guests if they can be arranged. More details to follow.

On this week’s episode, we hear views from Christine, Aunty Jean, Catherine and Curious Alice.
