Ambridge residents seem to move rarely – well farmers usually live on their own farms and so removal men are rare. We saw the Aldridges forced to downsize last year and Alison has been working out that a whole series of moves are afoot.
Ed and Emma and the children will be off to their (whisper it quietly) tiny affordable home on Beechwood. Lucy reckons that somehow “Tim nice but Crim” will rip them off before it happens.
Eddie, Clarrie and Joe have to leave Grange Farm as the rent is too high. William will realise that the best tenants in the world are family and so they will move in to Number One the Green, although it will probably lead to Joe’s death.
The Aldridges are not happy at Willow Cottage and will rent or perhaps even buy Grange Farmhouse from Oliver. Kate will be able to join them.
Tom and Natasha will hopefully move into Willow Cottage so they can disturb Kirsty’s beauty sleep before she moves in with Philip.
Hannah and Johnny will be homeless but magically she will be able to afford one of Lilian’s flats and take in Johnny as a lodger plus Freddie as he cannot go back to Lower Loxley and Shula may not want him.
It is no longer a contemporary rural drama, more a few episodes of “Location, location, location”.
