DTD: 273 – Old Town Road Ambridge

Both the presiding judge and I had hoped that confining young Freddie to the care of Her Majesty for a period of time would enable the over-privileged, brain-dead, feckless scion of the house of the flying Nigel to undertake a period of mature reflection and consideration.  Nothing however seems to have got through the ears of the idiot until Russ tried to explain a few facts; will it last?  I doubt it!

It strikes me however that Borsetshire is in a completely different universe.  Most mother and son pairings with two important appointments with no other commitments such as work and one car would arrange to drive together to the first one and then to the second and then home, not expect to get back and go out again.  Then there is Alastair not knowing a relatively local vet and yet Chris suddenly knows both Jakob and another local vet – just does not make sense.  And if flogging monthly subscriptions to the Lovell James service is so important how come Jakob has not even mentioned it?

Also following his earlier indiscretions Ed attended a thinking skills course which he has completely forgotten about – and which Freddie does not wish to attend.  Perhaps if the two of them discussed it then Ed might be aware that if something looks like a phony, swims like a phony and quacks like a phony then it is probably not a duck and so you swerve it at all costs!
