Angela Barnes (who recently hosted an excellent Radio 4 Extra retrospective of the Python team including the first ever Cambridge Circus – still on BBC Sounds) has joined Naked Fingers for our podcast this week. There were some excellent jokes in Ms Barnes’ week in Ambridge and she tells us she is already looking forward to the invasion of the Teutonic winter markets which appear to have taken over town centres for the month of December, not to mention the mulled WKD!
Anyway it appears that cider alcohol is the road to horniness having put Basil to rights – I assume it has kept the Grundy reproduction systems functioning for years past although in the Philip and Kirsty household wine is important to the process. Joy Horville is trailing along in the same well trodden path of past interlopers – Jean Harvey, Lynda Snell and most recently Vicky, later Tucker who have largely settled down into being real human beings after an unpleasant start.
Lexi has gone and has already been forgotten Joe (he was 98 you know) has also silently departed and so Angela Barnes and Robert Wilson have to use full names for the rest of the podcast. Although Robert seems to have been attached to a camel recently. Perhaps the whole surrogacy storyline can, like Adam’s abduction, now be completely forgotten – apart from Jenny who knows all about bringing up someone else’s child! Poor Xander will never know his grandfather unless Paddy suddenly returns – it is a strange old family he has joined.
Emmur used to regularly clean for the Macy Craig family – has this been forgotten?

Joe passed away after a night on the cider at the annual cider pressing party.
