Roifield postulates a DumTeeDum team building session during this podcast and this gave me food for thought, the first one being to ask myself how quickly I can resign to prevent being dragged on such a day. I have never experienced a “team building day” and I feel such monstrosities have long outlived their usefulness. Remember if you are part of a team you owe allegiance to your boss until you can stab him/her in the back and take his job. If you are the boss keep your back to the wall at all times.
Anyway Lucy knows how to organise one of these. She knows a rural pub deep in Devon where you can go and get a decent drink, a well refreshed lady who does the church flowers and you spend 25 minutes discussing a trapped wasp. And it probably did not have any wifi.
Hawaii is discussed at length; I thought this was the Chinese company which is not allowed to build the 5G network for security reasons and which Trump seems to dislike. Apparently not; it is a part of the US (which Trump has to like I suppose) and which has the only royal palace in the USA. Educational as well this week on the podcast.
The social media team of Yokel Belle and Millie Bear (or something like that) rarely get a mention around here but this week Yokel announces that he is awarding a formal title (like a knighthood) to the boy wonder “Gavin” who shall in future be addressed at all times as “Piss Off Gavin”.
