Our hosts this week do not actually discuss the week in Ambridge as the chosen topic is the characters they like / dislike – Brian divides opinions with Keri not being keen on the old roué whilst Roifield takes a slightly different view (admittedly having met the wonderful Charles Collingwood in a lift). Halfway through the discussion Pete does a complete reverse ferret changing his position completely whilst Keri says she would go to a dinner party with Brian for the all round entertainment but feels, rather like Amber Rudd, who referred some years ago to Boris Johnson as “not the man you want driving you home at the end of the evening.”
The “horses” live at the yard in Borchester which Kirsty visited – much to Philip’s surprise. They have been working about 20 miles from Ambridge as Pete pointed out but presumably it is the mobile Gavin who is being light fingered.
I don’t think Emma would have spoken to Chris in front of Alice. She just would not have done it – if both Alice and Chris insisted as they did I am sure Emma would have walked away. Keri however says that she could do what Emma had done – but I don’t think anyone would actually tell a sibling about their partner in front of the partner.
And there is still no sign of complete normality returning to The Archers. Anyone who knows when we get the proper programme back please let us all know.
In a change of policy the social media team will no longer report on other groups on the internet – although Academic Archers will get the odd mention.

On this week’s episode, we hear views from Elsa, Lady Garff Garff, Caroline Wright, Witherspoon, Glyn Fullerlove and Sarah Spillsbury.
So to go a bit bonkers with the voicemails. It is wonderful to find a group of people who are more obsessed with the archers than I am. Yes the archers does offer me a crumb of comfort in my chaotic world
I have only been listening for about 13 years, when ever they came to iTunes. Right before Alush and Chris came Back from their trip to my country and th marriage.
Also I am disappointed that none of the grandes did a monologue around Joe’s birthday.
I wonder if anyone will be celebrating Jills birthday next month
I don’t think that Gavin and Aluish will have an affair. But it is a good red herring. If she doesn’t have a termination, we don’t even know how pregnant she is perhaps she will try to have a miscarriage. Horseback riding, running
