Roifield feels that the time spent this week by Brian rampaging around the house wanting to speak to Aunt Niamh was a waste of good air time. The CD should have arrived later in the week. Can someone explain to me why Ruari is not at college doing his “A” Levels – Ben too for that matter? It was inevitable that Jenny would be the rock for Ruari – she has looked after him and she of course will be the first person Ruari tells about his personal feelings about his sexuality. It provides all sorts of additional storyline possibilities over the next 60 or more years and is bound to be exploited. Now he is 18 is he a full partner at Home Farm?
Keri is on the road to recovery and we wish her return to full health and she may return with Pete Fickling next week; this week Phillipa Hall is sitting in the second host’s chair – as I said before shipping it around the countryside is getting very expensive. Poor Pete has to stand up when there are three hosts as we cannot afford a third chair.
Phillipa is very attached to chocolate and gives a masterclass in attention to detail as she reveals where supermarkets keep Kit Kat bars. Apparently it is size dependent.
I thought for a moment that Fenella Fielding was on the podcast but apparently it was Fiona Siobhan Powell and she gave a wonderful explanation of why we listen as demonstrated by the recording. Susan has been hated since 1983 (well Fiona had a thing for Neil). She does not like Jenny either – but recalls her admiration for Jenny and it was revisited again this week. Roifield – can we have Fiona as host one week? I will pay for the chair to be air-freighted to Pennsylvania; it is just such a wonderful voice.
