The team this week is Quentin (who should have been on holiday but is replacing Roifield at short notice) and Philippa and they tackle the rights and wrongs of being kidnapped by your father and being committed. For the rest of us we now get at least four weeks without Alice’s soapy nonsense. Quentin’s contribution is over a somewhat dodgy wifi link.
Philippa is also wielding the secateurs as she is doing the post-record editing and she will not be popping them back to Neil later as she does not want to be the cause of further marital disharmony. Philippa has cut her son’s hair this week and the end result has required rectification by her husband – indeed secateurs (or as they are renamed by Quentin – sexateurs) might have achieved a better result.
I think Peggoi is very ill, firstly admitting that she was wrong and then doubting that she is better than the rest of us. Are these the first signs of some mid-life crisis that she is encountering or all the lonely hours in the Lodge are perhaps playing with her mind?
On 30 July there will be a “Zoom” with Buffy Davis – also known sometimes as Jolene Archer, landlady of “The B @ Ambridge” which has not appeared in action for many months due to the physical distancing rules.

Quentin & Philippa discuss the latest week in Ambridge, with calls from Dusty Substances, Witherspoon, Young Keith, Isabelle and a last minute first-time callerinerer, plus a text from Chris.
