DTD: 400 – We bid farewell to Roifield & chat about Roy’s haircut, Jennifer’s Cheesecake and Ian’s Beetroot mousse.

All hail Roifield as he appears one last time.  Philippa puts him under the microscope and questions him about the recent zoom. DTD: 399 – The slap, the scarecrow and a sadly deflated prediction.

Ambridge seems to be experiencing turbulent times in recent weeks this week magicking up Amy Franks for her first appearance in about 10 years and all she can tell us is that Alice is still drinking.  What a surprise!   Our hosts seem more interested in Mickey Mouse pyjamas than happenings in Ambridge and the reasons become crystal clear as Philippa reviews the tragedies on the Am from last week.  Frankly my dear I cannot give a damn. DTD: 395 – A catfish, an interview, a PE teacher and a WhatsApp kerfuffle.

Welcome, Philippa, Rosie and Quentin are reunited in celebration of last week in The Archers; Quentin is particularly rural but in sight of a mast so has a strong signal.   For the second week running characters were showing complete aberration, with David and Ruth being cheerful; Lee turning violent and Eddie running a successful scam in fleecing the groom (Yam Yam) who, unlike the rest of the country appears to walk around with over £300 cash in his back pocket!  Have you tried paying anyone in cash recently?  I have been in pubs that simply refused to take money.  […]
