Rofield is recording loudly, no I mean quietly, this week, so we cannot hear him. Derek had emptied his loft for the jumble trail but the back bedroom was untouched and Lucy was in fine form for her monologue. She was most concerned that we were not even allowed to attend the Grundy party, a point which Yokel Bear echoed. Fallon and Krusty finally got Jazzer and Tom back together and then were smug about it.
There was a new character this week – entirely silent – Beverley Drains – but she was apparently on the phone to waccy baccy baker Wayne this week as a pretend girl friend to put Kenton off the scent. Hilarious consequences of course. But it did take us back in the direction of the real Archers and we can but hope it continues. The tide is turning.
Initially Helen did not seem to be bonding with the devil child, who was given a multitude of names and we are not sure who got to the registrar first – even Witherspoon was worried about this lack of bonding, calling in very hoarsely before the tide turned on Friday and he reminded us the story will not finish before April 2017.
Cat Brown managed to phone in from her honeymoon (impressive) having heard Friday’s episode – she may even start listening all the time again! Everyone seems to have been touched by the names Helen wants to give to the baby.
Millie would like to see more posts on the forum to keep her amused.
