Before noting how good Lucy’s monologue was this week Roifield announced that it was inevitable that they would be disagreeing. It took a while before he admitted that he does not have the objection shown by some contributors to the intended liaison between Lilian and Justin. Lucy’s objection is not moral – merely on the basis of self-esteem. Roifield is more supportive of Justin’s wish for companionship and to enjoy each other’s company in many ways. Eventually our podcast husband and wife ended up having a domestic over the relationship! Lucy believes that it will all end in Lilian’s tears.
We then leave Ambridge behind for Roifield to recall a visit by Muhammad Ali to Birmingham in 1977.
It is the holiday season. Lucy has been around Rome and Andrew Horn is sipping coffee by the pool. My wife is away. My next holiday is not for months!
And Yokel Bear wants Robert Snell to be given an award! Witherspoon remarked on Joe’s failing health and the potential for a physical assault on Henry by Rob as being his ultimate undoing.
Millie Belle also pays tribute to Alan Devereux, who inhabited the part of Sid for forty years and shocked us all with the shower scene.
