Heard whilst flying the Atlantic this was another special week for the podcast with a contribution from Edmund King OBE of the Archers Automobile Association. Certainly friends in high places.
Emma, Warrior Princess, is in discussion with Lucy over her character development on The Archers in recent years. Fascinating listen. Clearly Emerald who plays Emma is very keen on the role and The Archers in general.
Lucy, with the intention of easing Roifield’s workload has declared some limits will be placed on calls with the aim of keeping the podcast length under control and to avoid duplication. After all our hosts do spend around two days a week each on our entertainment and sometimes have to earn a living!
Lengthy discussion over Jill’s birthday. Pip was wrong – Jill has always had a problem with the Fairbrother family & it was a great reminder of Archer history. Indeed we seem to be back to something more normal letting characters lead stories and avoiding issues.

The President of the AA calls in, we interview Emerald O’Hanrahan who plays Emma Grundy and Roifield talks to Clemcott, the bloke wrote that review!
On this week’s episode we have calls from
Sarah from Cambridge who’s a wistful romantic
Yokelbear who thinks Jill was being grumpy
Bye Bye Steve who thinks Jill was churlish
Steve the Pirate who thinks Rob’s going on the run
Witherspoon who thinks Pip was out of line
and
Andrew Horn who is happy to see two role models in the village
