Jenny Dahling stars in this week’s village round up with great support from Home Farm events and Toby being a five year old father. Luckily as our hosts point out that whole story is about Toby growing up – echoing my comments about Toby merely being a younger version of Kenton – next week Toby will make it to 6! Robert (Naked Fingers) announces he is very much “Team Toby”.
Lucy also knows that the builder responsible for the “Totally Contaminated Environment” is the long missing and lamented Brummie Builder – Jason – who stays in the memories of many long term listeners and is much preferred to the “Johnny Come Lately” Philip Moss. We know he dunnit!
Non-earthling Andrew Horn posits that events will force Brian’s retirement whilst Lucy feels that if Brian is indeed given a jail sentence then he will regenerate into Noel Coward as he appeared in The Italian Job with silk dressing gown and special treatment by warders and other inmates. Jenny’s serious illness is being hugely signposted – she keeps puffing and panting and being tired and so Brian if he does not go to jail will become her carer; which is the worse sentence? Adam will be even busier than he is now, Ian’s branding of the restaurant at Gay Grables will take off and neither of them will have time for their baby so Jill will have two to look after in the creche she will open for the Toblerone!
