Lucy appears to have taken up residence in an echo chamber – then she built a tower to move the microphone! Lucy has identified that Anisha is characterised as a cheeky Jack Russell terrier whilst Rex is a golden retriever and the two are not really compatible – listen to her descriptions to understand more! I still don’t get it. We all know wearing shoes is just not allowed on a bouncy castle. Are we really expected to believe that Toby threw Kate onto the bouncy castle unclothed but still wearing shoes, “adult” or not, with half the party still there? If the party had finished the castle would have been let down because the pump would have kept Brian awake (he is not a good sleeper you know). I just don’t get it at all.

It appears that there are now 11 – 12 writers – and there does seem to be some evidence that this leads to a lack of consistency and continuity which requires either slightly less numbers in the writers’ room or improved editing – the latter is something I have considered has fallen short over recent years. Against that the delivery of lines and the quality of the asides is much improved from the stilted approach in early years.
