Lucy bemoans not knowing the Ambridge Panto subject for this year – only because it means she cannot moan about it by name! Meanwhile Lucy tells us that Kathy Perks has been found – incarcerated in the Laurels. And Irene is also there but pretending to be Carol Vorderman who gets a celebrity guest mention at the end of the Week in Ambridge.
The current storylines are examined in detail. Lizzie is letting Lower Loxley go to rack and ruin whilst trying to find a phone number for Saul Goodman (505-842-5662). If she cannot believe Usha she won’t believe anyone else! After all Freddie did the crime so should do the time (as he has said himself). Huge plot prediction is that Russ and Lily will break up and Lily will return to Lower Loxley to look after Lizzie whilst she has a nervous breakdown and get the stately home back on an even keel.
Meanwhile the opinion base on Hannah appears to have shifted as Hannah herself appears to have shifted in her position (what happened to the zipless f***?). I have a slightly different view – I think it is simply two writers (in different weeks) not able to give Hannah a consistent voice / approach and the editor is not keeping an eye on things. Or perhaps as Roifield alleges Keri lied.
Only two calls this week – but also a number of emails. More contributions welcomed. Put your Sunday afternoons to good use and give Lucy and Roifield more to discuss. Lucy does not like Fanta, the origins of which are apparently Germanic – it is amazing what Roifield knows!
