Lucy returns and with Roifield gets down to sorting out the differences between a to do (more often a right to do), a brouhaha and a hoo haa. Subtle differences but a scale is decided as follows:
Hoo Haa – lot of fuss about nothing
To Do – more admin heavy says Lucy
Brouhaha – even more fuss than a Hoo Haa
And a “Set To” probably involves some physical violence between two people.
Then they get back to The Archers.
Much speculation on the mystery visitor arriving or returning to Ambridge at Christmas and who is no doubt the new owner of Home Farmhouse. My guess is that Robin Fairbrother will return to woo Lizzie. For Lucy’s benefit Lexi has not left the village – she is living with Adam and Ian and working at the chicken factory.
From now on a new Witherspoon scale is being developed. Rob Titchener is a 10, Martin Gibson is probably an 8 and Johnny is probably a 1 – the scale reflects the angst caused to the listener when the resident is in full flow. It is not clear at the moment which of Hannah or Natasha is the more annoying personality. Just remember Natasha is not a farmer but a make up expert ((c) Tony Archer).
For Claire’s benefit I can advise that Naylah Ahmed wrote this week (and next).
Lucy gets excited over a map. But not that excited.
Mike Hatton has kindly created: https://dumteedum.com/chronology/ which has had a few items added. Roifield has promised to provide a direct link soon.
