Hopefully LNER allowed Lucy’s friend free travel home from Edinburgh after she was diverted from Gatwick due to the drones (I thought there were enough of those on the Archers!).
Robert seems fixated on the possibility of Carpet Burns displaying his own naked backside during the Canterbury Tales. And why didn’t Roy jet wash Emma Grundy? Lucy has a plotlet prediction for Beavis & Butthead but the timeline does not work. Xmas lunch at Brookfield is shimmering like a mirage on the horizon – I wonder who will be saying Grace before the meal.
There are only 2 holiday cottages at Home Farm (not 3, although perhaps like bedrooms they come and go), Alice is in one and Kate should be returning to the other one as she was only doing holiday lets to get Spiritual Home off the ground before it got dumped on. Surely the Aldridges could use the picker caravans short term? After all Jennifer made sure they were cleaned to her standards. The only other holiday cottage is now occupied by Pip and Grace and sometimes Toby.
Sarah Brown’s gorgeous voice blessed our ears again this week; can she phone in every week please?

On this week’s show we have calls from Sara, Paul, Witherspoon and Andrew.
