Voice recognition. Once again the hoary old chestnut about the similarity of all the male voices (Russ/Tom/Rex/Toby/Ben/Ruaridh) within the docudrama is raised. I reckon that those of you with (Alexa / Siri / Bixby / other possibilities probably exist) need to train your system to recognise the separate voices so they can shout out “Tom”, “Russ” or as appropriate. Or the new editor could just revert to good wireless practice and inset names when participants are talking to each other. There is discussion of Kate who is perhaps becoming an adult at a very slow rate – paying rent and literally having to do her own washing – or else she lives in a yurt or a shepherd’s hut! Lucy is proposing Emmur for a “Mother of the Year” award. Lot of kudos to Emmur and Soosan for their actions in recent weeks.
Week by week Natasha swings between being liked and disliked by callers. She had a good week this week. Next week she will be everyone’s bete noir! You can almost bet on it.
We will now take a brief intermission whilst Basil goes out for a trip round the garden like an exocet missile having been annoyed by the dog barking next door.
