Last week I commented on the wide range of writing styles. That continued this week when we were introduced to the pantomime of Camilla (not forgetting Piers, indeed how could anyone forget Piers – has he ever been mentioned before? – I am hoping he comes to stay soon!). This was followed up with the mendacious trollope issuing the words “Okay Babes” in her best come to bed, seductive, Welsh lilt as she suddenly materialised in front of Tom after weeks in hiding with no doubt in my mind that all of her assets were on display – straight from the Mills and Boon writer’s guide. Meanwhile for David there was a mysterious episode as it seemed that Kenton had discovered the “Magic Money Tree” which Theresa May cannot find to pay off the four year old debt (which is about as old as the mysterious bunting).
The bunting exercises Lucy and Roifield this week as this and certain other items discussed (no spoilers here) seem to breach the fourth wall. At the moment such breaches are the flavour of the media world (eg Fleabag) and in some ways there is far more interaction between the listening public and the creative team (for all media output) because of the existence of modern social media interaction which far exceeds the feedback available in recent decades.
Finally some of us watch Emmerdale Farm. In the last week or so the village has seen the death of Lisa Dingle which certainly had me close to tears and was an outstanding piece of story telling around the event and I hope that the team in Birmingham are working on something appropriate for Joe Grundy.

This week’s Dumteedum is from Old Grey Whiskers
download the new Dumteedum flick chat app https://flickchat.page.link/KnCs6a4Rz56QHG5y9
How on earth does an old grey whiskers get the app installed on my iphone – everything times out before my finger can poke the screen and it won’t let me install it from the app store on my windows laptop.
