Lucy is encouraged to reveal all by Roifield this week as the prize for DumTeeDum reaching number one in the podcasting charts – so please submit your reviews to iTunes under multiple personae to ensure that she features on all 12 months of a calendar. According to Roifield the photographer will need to source some larger buns.
However many listeners will not hear this disclosure as (allegedly) they stop listening after Lucy has covered the week in Ambridge and this week probably as a result of technical issues the normal natter comes after the social media section and not before the calls which are promoted up the batting order.
The week ended with Susan laying into Clarrie. Sad to say that once again this listener is dismayed by the way the editorial team have turned characters on their heads to engender conflict and dispute as we finally landed in EastEnder territory with a “Ger out of my pub (well off my land)” – line. The old biddies would be putting their heads together on how to help their offspring not create more pain and anguish, Susan led it off – but stomping across the village (as Emma did to Adam’s office recently) is just not on. If someone does not get a grip soon on the character abuse which is happening under our noses I shall have to report it Sgt Burns.
Talking of him by the way and his conversation with Jakob the latter is pretty intelligent (it is not easy to qualify as a vet) and you would expect this to offset any social deficiencies – appearing naked for a massage is a nonsense – there are always very clear instructions – and misreading Kate’s email. Once again amped up by management to an unreasonable level. Tone it down (and stop the shouting).
