DumTeeDum goes a little highbrow this week and neither Andrew Horn or Robert Wilson utter a word. Opera is above my plebian status (although I will admit to liking the now highly unfashionable world of Gilbert and Sullivan) but Roifield has recently attended an opera and in the absence of callers we are given his opinion. I bet Lucy was hoping that more of the community would call in – next week even Witherspoon will be missing as he is bound for Italy, lucky boy!
Our resident fashion maven does call on the subject of David’s leather jacket which Josh donated to a scarecrow (who has a scarecrow on a vegetable patch in England – come on writers, must do better). This leads to a discussion on the subject of vintage clothing which according to Lucy apparently refers to the Seventies. I can tell her it does not – either 20s or 40s I would say skipping the Depression Era.
Meanwhile can I be the first person to point out that the Personality Transplant Fairy has descended again on Ambridge and the former nicest man in the Village (but not the only gay) has clearly become demented. I am talking about Ian who is suddenly ignoring the law of the land about returning to work after his leave, is suddenly shouting at the galley crew and employing a spy as a kitchen porter. All so out of character that there can only be worse ahead next week. And I do think accusing Adam of baby brain this week (Brian and Jenny) was also just a bit beyond the pail.

This week’s Dumteedum is from Martin Williams
On this week’s episode, we hear views fromLydia and Witherspoon.
I too remember Jean-Paul, the Chef at GG. He was played by Yves Aubert who played a French Chef again in 2013 in an episode of Downton Abbey.
