Am I allowed to say that Lucy got her knickers in a twist in her week in Ambridge? Apparently not. Anyway Adam and Brian run Home Farm (and not BL as mentioned by Lucy) which houses the sheep producing the lambs which Josh was employed to mind so that Ian could swan off and leave Adam holding the baby. Also for those wondering why Kate was so nice to Lynda it may be useful for me to recall long forgotten events of more than 20 years ago when Lynda provided an arm around the shoulder and a calming influence to the teenage Kate who was being a difficult teenager; come to think of it when was Kate not difficult? Kate remembered and paid back the debt – with nearly 70 years on the clock something which can happen in Ambridge but in few other continuing dramas.
Much of the week’s reflection centres around the interactions between Lynda, Kate, Freddie and Robert. Lest we forget, having laughed at the nonsense stories pre-explosion, the episodes this week demonstrated the skills of both Freddie (Toby Laurence) and Robert (Graham Blockley) at opposite ends of their professional lives and yet both handling well written and directed material this week. From one extreme to the other in just a few weeks. Well done everyone.
And can someone please explain why a Shakespeare play gets mentioned by everyone this week. I have never seen Coriolanus and have no idea why it is so relevant.
Apparently the online meeting of the Dumteedum community sadly did not go well and after some objectionable incidents Roifield was forced to pull the plug and grump for two hours. Our hosts know that the offenders were not really part of the community. Another online meeting with slightly better control of access will happen on Friday evening.

On this week’s episode, we hear views from Paul, Witherspoon, Margot, Red Agnes, Lydia, Jen, General Store and Viv.
