Steadily catching up on podcasts (and The Archers) following my return from a holiday in Kent means this might actually appear before the next podcast.
Having spent six years of using DumTeeDum for Roifield to chat up podcast callers this week online dating returned to Ambridge in Lockdown with Lizzie who is looking for a thrusting man. Keri thinks for her it is probably a choice between Alastair and Roy – but there is no-one for Lizzie, so it looks like some new characters will be waltzing in and out of the doors of the Mailbox for some short recordings.
Pete – Lower Loxley is entailed to dear old Freddy so there is little chance of a new man taking on the estate. However perhaps Lizzie will set her cap at Russ, although he has never seem interested.
There seems to be some evidence that the content is improving and that the format is being accepted in some places. I think it is almost certain that the practitioners are developing their skills and it has provided an opportunity to re-examine old stories and underlying character backgrounds. And in terms which Boris Johnson will understand it seems likely that Harrison Burns will become a world beating, out-performing, first class policeman who may start nicking criminals – the fly tippers, the slave masters and the Button girls for stealing the bunting and not just Wayne and Freddie for minor drugs offences.
