Roifield wastes a lot of energy defending Shula over her inability to answer the phone pointing out that she is still a vicar in training. She may be a vicar in training – but she is an adult, fully grown with a grown up child. She knows what is right and what is wrong – either she wants to talk to the caller or she doesn’t. Her behaviour was not that of an adult.
BL’s response was completely out to lunch – the whole reaction by BL was a complete nonsense and to be honest BL does not have a great reputation anyway and appointing Brian the great polluter as Chairman is rubbish. I am not even sure it makes good listening. Who is even going to notice that BL has used a crappy contractor. I am not even sure why David should worry about it either. The story will be fish and chip wrapping paper within days – worrying about it is a nonsense and certainly taking the actions voiced are silly.
And most importantly what do you provide for contractors working in your house? A few cups of tea a day – if they wish here – not biscuits or choccy bars. And they are not always accepted – particularly since the virus.
