All change on the good ship DumTeeDum as Roifield will be leaving his regular seat hosting the podcast and Quentin, Rosie and Philippa will become regulars as Keri and Pete also stand down from the host positions. Somehow I think all three departing will still be heard one way or another. Roifield has new job opportunities – and after 7 years he feels that he has talked about the Hebden Lloyd backside for far too long.
Susan Carter was in her element this week as the nonsense stories of re-wilding with Longhorns and sewer pipes plus the continuing car crash of Alice Carter filled too much air time whilst Charlotte Martin proved that having a very slight story an excellent performance can elevate the entire programme.
Parish council standing orders (unless the clerk is incompetent) means that there will be a vice-chairman who automatically steps up if the chairman steps away. It would be extremely unusual for a long serving councillor to stand down and force a by-election – unless there was illness or similar. No-one actually believes Neil is responsible for slave labour and indeed most politicians can brazen out far more serious allegations than a dodgy builder.
There is also has the inside information on Sabrina Thwaite – listen to find out all the gossip from the shop.
