The guest host with Roifield this week is Philippa . I have a sister with the same name but a different spelling. My father always got the blame for the “wrong” spelling as he was despatched to register the birth and the spelling which she bears is I believe almost unique out of the various possibilities which exist. Hence if it appears wrongly spelt in these summaries then my father is to blame.
What has happened to the story about Adam and Ian being hard up? Why drop in a silly half reference like that and not mention it again for weeks? Josh from the Pacific North-West (where-ever that might be) muses on the subject but Adam is only paid on the financial profits of the grazing land due to the deal Brian cut a few years ago – another dumped story line given that the poly tunnels (which cannot be there all year as there are planning restrictions) now contain fish and home brew. One wonders if anyone is managing anything at the (former) Home Farm. I suspect it should be renamed Redmond Enterprises.
Lynda remains completely out of character – sacking by remote control and not getting the performance rights. Can someone please find the real Lynda and bring her back?
Apparently now The Archers can be recorded down lines – so I repeat my question why are we on 4 days a week and not the full fat diet of six episodes a week? I fear that the BBC are simply incompetent and do not like having The Archers on the roster – the next lockdown will eliminate it from the schedules as being far too expensive.
