Roifield returns this week with Philippa alongside him and the first discussion point is Mia’s crush. If she has any sense it will be Lee who is clearly a fine figure of a man as we will all discover next week. Otherwise what does Helen see in him? Penniless divorced man has to have something going for him!
The Flick app has been given a flick of the finger and move made to Clubhouse. Roifield obviously likes clubbing.
Listening to this podcast was interrupted by an urgent need to go and get my second anti-covid injection. 12 weeks after the first I am now vaccined-up and in a couple of weeks I might be relatively safe to be let out into the wider world. And I can go on holiday – so an early warning – I am off to warmer climes later in the month. Ohh apparently not. I am going to Yorkshire and Northumberland and as we all know know Prudhoe is not that warm.
Why has no-one to put a covid related item in the time capsule? Roifield is apparently not very keen on the time capsule story, although Philippa says they are a “thing” with an international time capsule website! I wonder where she has buried hers? No doubt this is one of those stories which can be buried once and for all and certainly for far more than 10 years!
After a long absence JoJo returns and suggests that Joy and Jim on the parish council together should be entertaining. She also reminds us of the history between Lizzie and Rex’s father (Robin not Simon) which could generate some interesting interactions. Rex and Lily has also been widely trailed.
