Roifield returns to the podcast joining Philippa who starts off quite quietly before listening to a huge number of calls and emails, so no rapping this week. Philippa has had a fraught week with the start of GCSE exams / assessments which apparently have not gone well as they are more important than anyone expected.
Meanwhile Roifield has been shaking that ass – live jazz from Anton the drummer – on a dance floor with real live music indoors for the first time in months and months as the restrictions relax.
Even the Gills got a look in as the podcast is packed.
The great disconnect between this week and the week before beggared belief. Discussions on Thursday were at high volume and Emma said everyone was listening – but come Monday Biriani and fffffer had no idea. I think the current writing methods is sinking continuity. Keri says we are soon back to one writer for 5 episodes a week and hopefully the storyliners will be able to sort the continuity.
https://thearchersarchives.org.uk/greg-is-advised-to-be-completely-open-with-helen-brian-mixes-business-and-pleasure-with-siobhn/ comes to the rescue – thank you Brenda Selwyn and others. Brian wanted some translation for the Hungarian venture so dropped in on Siobhan and inevitably they shared a bottle of her wine – with Brian promising to provide the wine the next time they met. However Brian is not an alcoholic, not even a functioning alcoholic. He can take a drink and that’s that. Alice’s damaged genes come from Jack 1, even Tony has to be careful with alcohol.
