Quentin is managing two theatre trips in one week; Philippa has fully recovered – it was an excess of cherries casing the upset last and they join Rosie to review the week in Ambridge.
In Summary Towers I am writing this single handed as my left hand is heavily bandaged following my operation; it tends to be very slow to find some keys whilst capitals are very difficult!
Quentin finds listening to Adam very difficult. Adam was forced to use a strange voice when he returned as he was initially confused with other residents, so his voice changed and I think it is the cause of the disagreeable sounds which emerge. Against all normal morals Adam stole £5k; he should be sacked and leave the village forever. And frankly Adam simply would not steal from the family business – it isn’t just Brian’s farm since the partnership was created and Adam would not disrespect his mother. The story has no basis in the individual characters and is simply wrong in the context of Home Farm.
And be prepared for a discussion of Jill and her sex life – blink your ears and you might miss it.
I am afraid to say, as a hoarder myself, I always kept the valuables out of sight and mind of children and grandchildren as abuse as handed out by Henwee and Gideon would have led to some appropriate physical correction.
