This week’s podcast was brought to you courtesy of a woolly National Trust dog blanket. There were more calls than time allows so some editorial decisions have been made this week but hopefully all views were well represented.
Ambridge is being dominated by business meetings this week; the strangest one was when Natasha was allowed to decide the future of Bridge Farm, despite the BBC budget being so tight that she could not physically attend the meeting and Tom had to find a signal in the yard. Will someone please invent landlines, oh I forgot – they don’t work when you decide to trim your bush in midwinter up a ladder! The meeting of Kenton, Shula and David to discuss Lizzie’s slight mental black hole, would have been far more interesting if held on a Whatapps group and might have made for rather more thrilling wireless than was actually achieved. And have all three of them forgotten the telling off they got from Jill last time they met without her to discuss Lizzie? Apparently so.
Lee comes in for a lot of comment this week – apparently he has big hands, wears white trainers for a country walk and is not yet trusted by all of the DumTeeDum community. When will Lee find out about tuna custard stab bake gate? How will he cope allegedly learning about this widely reported attempted murder for the first time?
And Brian and Shula are not leaving. Would you leave when being given such strong story lines to portray?
