    It was mentioned at some point that they were childhood sweethearts. From the scenes we heard while they were a couple he was being an arse to her but she was much more defiant with him.

    I don’t think they ever were childhood sweethearts. That was just a piece of nonsense Rob made up when Lynda asked him to do an improvisation when rehearsing for her Christmas play.
