Wob & Jess

As I was listening to the omnibus last week, as I walked the dogs, I started wondering about how Wob & Jess got together. From what little we heard of Jess she seemed to know her own mind and was very assertive over Wob & her pregnancy.

So, considering how Wob wants to dominate Helen, how would he have hooked up with a women like Jess?

It was mentioned at some point that they were childhood sweethearts. From the scenes we heard while they were a couple he was being an arse to her but she was much more defiant with him.

I don’t think they ever were childhood sweethearts. That was just a piece of nonsense Rob made up when Lynda asked him to do an improvisation when rehearsing for her Christmas play.
