Something new happened (twice) this month that I’ve not noticed since I started doing these character counts. We had unknown characters speaking. On Sunday 11 August, after the cricket match, a male voice was heard calling to Chris Carter in The Bull. It definitely didn’t sound like Adam, Brian or Jim who were the other male characters who had featured in the episode. The second occurrence was on Wednesday 14 August, when Will and Clarrie were at the hospital with Poppy. Another unknown male voice was heard calling out, presumably from another booth in the A&E department.
