Angela Barnes sits in again for Lucy this week and Roifield had almost forgotten they were going to record so it is a miracle it turned up at all! Angela has had no time to write Lucy’s week in Ambridge so we skip right to a discussion of events.
Roifield has lost all interest in the Lexi & Roy story as there has never been much of a portrayal of the relationship and it now seems to have fallen apart without explanation. Lexi only now seems to be resident to pursue Adam and Ian’s baby production and that seems pretty tenuous after a couple of failures. Once again the number of stories which are around but are left hanging for indeterminate periods before progressing is a cause of concern; whilst it might be a bit like real life it leads to the telling being disjointed and sometimes inconsistent which means that loose ends tend to be left.
One point of discussion is on which date do you tell your new friend how you ended your marriage with a stabbing? Given Lee had a toxic relationship perhaps Helen could have been a little more open?
Often overlooked in this summary is the wonderful media roundup (from Millie Belle this week) who brings a detailed report of postings and discussions over on the Facebook page for DumTeeDum where a lot of predictions and possibilities are discussed.
Angela is touring next year and urges everyone to book to see her trip round the country.
