Attempted murder was the main charge as I recall. But as Roifield was right to point out that was where things went wrong in not demonstrating how a wife who was so well looked after by her husband could only leave by partaking in violence rather than through some other means.
I realise that things happen in Ambridge that we don’t hear or hear reported, but when did Justin make this offer? The last I remember, he offered in the neighbourhood of a million pounds for an unspecified three and a half acres, subject to valuation. I was waiting to see how much less than a million would Justin think was in the neighbourhood and how independent would be the valuation. Also, wasn’t it three and a half acres of a much bigger field? Did anyone get out a map and draw out exactly the bounderys?
