I’d just like to say they are a triumph. Usually over wasps, barking dogs and kids shouting Basil in the background but a triumph none the less

Full of *lewd innuendo (hurrah!) and interruptions and interpretations from that other presenter they always cheer up my day.

So three cheers for our Lucy. Hip hip…..

*can innuendo be lewd? Answers on a postcard please….

Agree whole heartedly. I love the detritus of everyday life creeping into the podcast, makes Lucy and Roifield feel like friends. Her monologues are always brilliant.

I recently introduced a friend to The Archers and recommended Lucy’s monologues as a way to catch up if she couldn’t get the podcast every day.

Like Valerie B, I also enjoy the off-topic ramblings. I was so sad to hear of Lucy’s father, and I agree with Roifield that she was very brave to go public with it. And brave and trusting of Roifield to air it and not cut it: you trusted that we love you and would have nothing but sympathy.

    Chin up, kid!
