There will be a brief mention of some tangential matter, resulting in cries of ‘what was all that about?’

There will be at least 2 in depth storylines, resulting in cries of ‘this is getting boring’.

There will be at least 2 story lines that are over quickly, resulting in cries, of ‘that was a missed opportunity to explore this important issue’.

    Someone get pregnant.

    Someone dies.

Someone leaves the village, never to return.

Someone new arrives. Will they stay?

There will be a village fete, the flower and produce show and a Christmas Panto.

    Will and Ed will fight.

    There will be cricket.

You’re so right. Do we have to wait ’til 1 Jan to start ticking them off?

Can I add a couple of equal certs?

Someone will behave entirely out of character to help a storyline along.

A new or old couple will have a misunderstanding that would be over in minutes, if only they talked to each other.

A new posh chap will arrive whose accent can’t easily be distinguished from all the others.

Given the recent random mention of Titcombe and Lewis, can we assume that these two will eventually shuffle off their mortal coil. Titcombe must be about 104!

@fatfriend – I’m going to say yes (otherwise there’ll be too many babies!)
