Yes, Potty Dimley, I think there have been plenty of examples of Rob trying to make her eat. He clearly has no idea of how to handle anorexia and thinks humiliating her to try to eat will do the trick. I don’t know why Pat doesn’t understand this. Even the loveliest husband with no previous experience or training around anorexia is likely to do the wrong thing, that is try to make her eat a lot to make up for lost time. Pat should understand that.
I think the constant digs at her size are simply to reduce her self esteem. It is an autopilot function for him to constantly look for ways of putting her down. He probably doesn’t even make the connection to her anorexia.
The scan will be interesting won’t it? The baby will be small for age and Rob will attempt to force feed her or something like that. That won’t end well.
