I am hoping against hope that once Lindy Pops and Robert return to Nightingale Farm, she will go out into the garden and there will be a familiar bark ..
We need just one happy ending at present
Based on the fact that Lynda recently referred to this being ‘her first Christmas without Scruff’, (perhaps a line written in to remind listeners of his existence?) I’m inclined to think that Scruff could very well return as part of a ‘feelgood’ agenda over Christmas, along with Joe being liberated from the gloomy hostel. I must admit that I was never really very aware of the existence of Scruff before he disappeared during the flood, but I couldn’t have been paying attention!
